Thomas was born and raised in Northern California and attended the University of California, Davis. His passion for business and working with people eventually led him to become a business owner, providing him with firsthand experience in the challenges and rewards of building and operating a successful company.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, making the most of Northern California’s outdoor opportunities. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, boating, and fly fishing whenever he can. He also has a passion for archery and enjoys getting out on the golf course when time allows.  

As the owner of an automotive collision repair business, Thomas oversaw all operations, managed a team of employees, drove business development, and built strong relationships with customers and industry partners. This hands-on experience gave him deep practical knowledge in financial management, strategic planning, leadership, and the day-to-day complexities that business owners navigate—from managing cash flow to handling employee relations to optimizing operational efficiency.

What truly shaped Thomas's perspective, however, was leading the sale of his own business. He guided the entire process from initial exploratory discussions through closing, and in doing so, gained invaluable insight into the financial, operational, and personal considerations involved in exiting a company. He understands firsthand the significance of such a decision—not just for business owners, but for their families and their legacies.

Today, Thomas serves as a Business Broker at First Choice Business Brokers, where he works with business owners throughout Northern California who are considering buying, selling, or valuing a business. Drawing from his own experience, he understands the importance of these decisions and provides thoughtful guidance, clear communication, and a professional approach throughout the process.
