Michelle Koblas joined First Choice Business Brokers after over 30 years in information security and technology. As a well-respected business leader, Michelle has consulted across a diverse set of industries and led global, cross-functional IT and Information Security teams for companies such as Guardian Analytics, Brocade, eBay and Cisco. Known for her diligence, persistence and holistic approach to problem solving, Michelle brings a depth of experience to developing strategic programs and creating client-focused results that operate at scale.

Michelle’s technical expertise includes security program strategies; product and architectural review; global operational network management and design; policy development and contract negotiations; security awareness and training; business continuity planning; SaaS operations; and design and audit of security and operational controls, supporting compliance to a variety of security frameworks and standards; and customer trust engagement.

Michelle has her CISSP and CIPP/E certifications, has been a PCI DSS QSA, and received an M.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Computer Science from Pacific Lutheran University in Washington state. Michelle has been a speaker at conferences worldwide, was on the board for the Silicon Valley ISSA for several years and is an active advisor to the Women in Leadership Program at USF. She is fluent in Norwegian and keeps herself busy doing stained glass, painting, gardening, bowling and playing billiards when she’s not traveling.
