Eric Johnson is the founding broker of First Choice Business Brokers (FCBB) San Francisco Bay and has been actively involved in business management, mergers and acquisitions, and identifying and monetizing great ideas for over 35 years.

Eric has personally owned over 50 companies across 22 industries, been a sales executive at large multi-national companies, and led teams that created new markets for dozens of products and generated over $3.5 billion in revenues. He is an angel and private equity investor himself and has secured financing in excess of $375 million for companies in fields like real estate, biofuels, construction materials manufacturing and electric vehicles.

Leveraging his entrepreneurial and investment expertise, Eric partners with business owners and C-suite leadership to maximize the enterprise value of their organization and develop a comprehensive exit strategy, including approaches for minimizing taxes and transitioning to the next phase of their business life or retirement.

Eric’s extensive experience, strong sales skills, and his expansive network allow him to efficiently identify opportunities on both sides of the sales transaction and streamline the closing process for deals both large and small, complex and simple.

In addition to his business pursuits, Eric has been a professional recording and live performance musician, television and film actor, multi-track audio engineer (live and recorded sound), on-air radio personality, and voice-over talent and continues to employ these skills as a sound technician for a local Bay Area band.  Eric enjoys playing golf, woodworking, metalworking, robotics, and traveling.
