Buyers who already operate a tax preparation practice (NAICS 541213) may qualify for the SBA 7(a) expansion-loan pathway with reduced or zero equity-injection requirement, subject to lender and SBA approval.

Structured transition:

Both selling partners are committed to a clean handoff. One exits at close and provides 30 days of transition support at no charge. The second continues as a 1099 contractor for 12 months post-close, with that continuing role funded through the SBA structure. Institutional bookkeeping staff (10-plus year tenure) transfers with the practice.

Real estate:

Not included. Both office leases assign at close.
